Four wheel alignment
Printed before and after readings, with a check for worn suspension components first.
Flat repair
Patch plug repair from inside the tire where the puncture is in the repairable tread area.
Tire rotation
Every 5,000 to 7,000 miles for tires bought here, otherwise $28.
Winter tire changeover
Swap between mounted summer and winter sets, including rebalance and TPMS reset.
Seasonal tire storage
Your off season set stored indoors on racks, cleaned and inspected before return.

Summit has been on North Academy since 2003. We road force balance every tire we install rather than charging extra for it, because at Front Range speeds a static balance often is not enough. We stock all season, all terrain and dedicated winter fitments, and we will tell you when a cheaper tire is genuinely the right call.

FAQ
Tire questions
When do I actually need new tires?
Replace at 4/32 inch of tread if you drive in snow and rain, not the legal 2/32 minimum. Also replace at any age over six to eight years regardless of tread, because rubber hardens and grip falls off even on a tire that looks new.
Do I need an alignment with new tires?
If your old tires wore unevenly, if the car pulls, or if you have hit a serious pothole, yes. Otherwise it is optional. We check the readings free with any tire installation and only recommend the alignment if the numbers are out.
Can I replace just one or two tires?
On a front or rear wheel drive vehicle, yes, in pairs on the same axle, with the new pair on the rear. All wheel drive is different. Most systems require all four to be within a small circumference tolerance or you risk driveline damage.
Are winter tires worth it here?
If you commute over Monument Hill or drive the passes, they make a real difference in stopping distance below about 45 degrees. If you stay in town and drive after the plows, quality all season or all weather tires are usually enough.
