How much does tree removal cost?
Most residential removals in Nashville land between $650 and $3,200, driven by height, proximity to structures, and access for equipment. A large tree over a roof with no crane access costs far more than the same tree in an open field, which is why we quote on site.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
Metro Nashville regulates removal on some properties, especially in overlay districts and on commercial lots, and rules differ in Brentwood and Franklin. We check the requirements for your address and pull permits when they are needed as part of the job.
How do I know if a tree is dangerous?
Warning signs include mushrooms at the base, a hollow trunk, deep cracks in a main union, a sudden lean with soil heaving on one side, and large dead limbs in the canopy. Any of those is worth a $150 assessment before storm season rather than after.
Does homeowners insurance cover storm damage?
Policies commonly cover removal when a tree hits a structure, and often do not when it simply falls in the yard. We document everything with photos and provide itemized invoices your adjuster can work from, though the coverage decision is between you and your insurer.
