Subjects and formats
Math, reading, writing and high school sciences
Sessions run 50 minutes. Packages lower the hourly rate but nothing locks you in.
Elementary math and reading
Phonics, fluency, number sense and fact recall for grades K through 5.
Middle and high school math
Pre algebra through AP Calculus, taught by tutors who hold the subject certification.
Writing and essay support
Structure, revision and citation work, including college application essays in the fall.
Chemistry and physics
Honors and AP level, with lab report support during the school year.
10 session package
Prepaid block at a reduced hourly rate, sessions valid for six months.

Every tutor here holds a state teaching certificate or a degree in the subject they teach, and we match a student to one tutor rather than rotating whoever is free. Consistency is most of what makes tutoring work, because the tutor remembers what confused the student three weeks ago.

FAQ
Questions parents ask
How many sessions before we see a change?
Confidence usually shifts within three or four sessions. Grades follow the next assessment cycle, so plan on eight to twelve weeks before a report card reflects the work. We send a progress note every four weeks so you are not guessing.
Do you tutor online?
Yes, same tutors and same rates. Online works well for high school math and writing. For early reading and anything hands on with manipulatives, we recommend in person.
Can you coordinate with my child's teacher?
With your written permission, yes. We ask for the current unit plan or syllabus so sessions line up with what is being graded, and many teachers will email us directly about upcoming assessments.
Is there a contract or minimum?
No contract. You can book week to week. Packages exist only because they lower the hourly rate, and unused sessions stay valid for six months.
