About the shop
Two installers who do the work themselves
Northgate opened in 2014 and stayed deliberately small. Ty and Renard are both manufacturer certified installers, and they install every vehicle personally rather than handing it to a trainee. The bay is heated and filtered because vinyl will not conform properly in a cold building and dust under a wrap shows forever.

Wrap questions
How long does a wrap last?
Cast vinyl typically lasts five to seven years on vertical panels and three to five on horizontal surfaces like a hood or roof that take direct sun. Garaged vehicles and regular hand washing extend that considerably.
Will a wrap damage my paint?
Factory paint in good condition is protected by a wrap, and removal at the end of life is safe. Wraps installed over resprayed panels, peeling clear coat or body filler can pull paint on removal, so we inspect and tell you honestly before quoting.
Can I take it through a car wash?
Avoid automatic brush washes, which lift edges. Touchless washes are acceptable, and hand washing with a pH neutral soap is best. Keep a pressure washer more than a foot from any edge and never aim it straight at a seam.
Why is a full wrap more than the quote I got elsewhere?
The two big variables are film and labor. Calendared vinyl costs less and shrinks back from edges within a year or two. Knifing film on the vehicle instead of disassembling panels saves hours and leaves visible seams. We quote cast film with panels removed, and we will show you the difference in person.
