I started shooting weddings for friends in 2014 and never stopped
I was a newspaper photographer before this, which is where the documentary habit comes from. I shoot about 22 weddings a year so I am not exhausted by October, and I edit every image myself rather than sending your gallery to an outside editor.

FAQ
The questions I get most
How long until we see our photos?
A sneak peek of about 30 images goes out within 48 hours. The full edited gallery is delivered within six weeks, and I have not missed that window in four years.
Do we need a second shooter?
If both partners are getting ready separately or your guest count is over 150, yes. Under that, one photographer with a solid timeline covers the day fine.
What happens if you get sick?
I carry a contract backed backup arrangement with three Austin photographers whose work matches mine. In eleven years I have never missed a wedding, but the plan exists in writing.
Do you travel outside Austin?
Yes. Anything within 90 minutes is included. Beyond that I add mileage and one hotel night, which usually runs $300 to $500 and is quoted before you sign.
