The property
Forty acres, seven buildings, no televisions
Junipero Ridge sits above Arroyo Seco with the Sangre de Cristo mountains on one side and open mesa on the other. The main house and casitas are adobe, heated by wood and passive solar. We grow a good portion of what ends up on the table and buy the rest within an hour of here. There is wifi in the office if you truly need it.

FAQ
Planning your stay
Do I need to be experienced at yoga?
No. Sessions are taught in mixed levels with options given for every posture, and roughly a third of our guests each season are close to beginners. If you would rather walk or sit than practice, that is a completely acceptable way to spend the morning here.
How does the altitude affect people?
We sit at about 7,400 feet. Most guests feel it for the first day or two as slight breathlessness on the hills and interrupted sleep. Drink far more water than usual, go easy on alcohol the first night, and the hike on day one is deliberately gentle for this reason.
Can you handle my dietary restrictions?
Yes, and we ask about them at booking rather than on arrival. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and common allergies are routine for our kitchen. Tell us anything severe and the chef will call you directly before your retreat to go through the menu.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are fully refundable up to sixty days before arrival. Between sixty and thirty days we refund half or move you to any future date at no charge. Inside thirty days we can transfer your spot to another person but cannot refund it, since the food and staffing are already committed.
