How we work
Small crews, shoe covers, and no ladders on the siding
Clearview started in 2014 with a bucket, a squeegee, and one very patient neighbor. We use ladder standoffs so nothing rests against your gutters or siding, wear shoe covers inside, and move what needs moving without being asked. If it rains within fourteen days of an exterior clean, we come back and redo the affected glass at no charge.

Before we come out
How often should windows be cleaned?
Twice a year suits most Portland homes, typically spring and early fall before the rain sets in. Houses under fir trees or near busy roads often want three visits, and we will tell you at the first cleaning what your glass actually needs.
What if it rains right after you clean?
Rain alone does not undo a proper clean, since spotting comes from dirt already on the glass. Even so, if the exterior looks worse within fourteen days we return and redo it at no charge.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Only for interior work, where someone needs to let us in. Exterior cleaning just needs gate access and the sprinklers off, and we text photos when we finish.
Can you remove hard water spots?
Often, when the minerals sit on the surface. Once sprinkler water has etched into the glass, polishing improves it but may not fully clear it, so we test one pane and show you the result before quoting the whole house.
