The Vasquez family planted the first eight acres in 1998 on Jory soils in the Chehalem Mountains and bottled a first vintage in 2003. Everything we pour is estate grown, hand harvested and sorted twice. We make about 4,500 cases a year, small enough that the winemaker still runs half the tastings herself in the quiet season.
“The winemaker sat down with us for twenty minutes on a slow Thursday. That does not happen at the big places.”

“The vineyard walk explained why the two Pinots taste so different from blocks a hundred yards apart.”

“Been in the club six years. Not one shipment I regretted opening.”

Yes, all tastings are seated and reserved. We hold eight tables per seating so the room stays quiet. Same-day spots sometimes open up, and it is worth calling the tasting room after 10am.
Well-behaved children are welcome and we keep juice and a shaded lawn. Dogs are welcome on the terrace on a leash. We ask that groups with small children take the 11am seating when the room is calmest.
We ship to most states, though a handful still prohibit direct wine shipment. Enter your address at checkout and it will tell you immediately. Summer shipments are held for cool weather unless you request otherwise.
Harvest usually runs late September into mid October. The crush pad is working then, and vineyard walk guests often see fruit coming in. We limit large group bookings during those weeks.
Reserve online for any tasting. For groups over ten or a club question, call the tasting room.
