Starting a project from a template is a zero-credit action. Loading a template into a new project does not spend your AI credits.
Credits are consumed by AI generation. Because starting from a template does not require the AI to generate the initial build, you can spin up template-based projects without using credits on the starting point.
Once you start asking the AI to customize the template, adapt it to your brand, or add new features, those generation requests consume credits as usual.
Use template starts to explore designs and lay down structure for free, then (on a paid plan) spend credits on the AI changes that make the project truly yours.
