Watching real visits to your We.Inc pages with Mouseflow

Mouseflow is a behaviour analytics tool. Once its tracking code runs on your site, it records sessions you can replay, and turns many visits into heatmaps that show where people click, how far they scroll and where their attention drops off.

We.Inc already counts visitors, pageviews, referrers and devices in its Analytics panel. Mouseflow answers a different question: not how many people came, but what they did on the page. That is useful when a pricing page gets traffic but few sign-ups, or when you suspect a button is being missed on phones.

Mouseflow does not change your design and it does not run tests or edit pages. When a recording shows a problem, you fix it in We.Inc by clicking on the page, asking in the chat or editing the code.

Mouseflow's pricing page lists Free at 500 sessions a month, Essential at $25 a month for 5,000, Advanced at $109 for 25,000 and Premium at $319 for 100,000, with Enterprise on request. The page offers an annual toggle with savings of up to 35 percent and does not say which billing period the listed figures use, so check before you pay. When sessions run out, tracking stops until the next refill unless you upgrade.

Recording visitors fairly

Session replay captures how people move through your pages, so tell visitors about it in your privacy policy. For visitors in the EU or UK, ask the We.Inc chat to add a consent banner and load Mouseflow only after someone agrees. Think twice before recording pages where people type sensitive details.

When no sessions show up

Mouseflow only sees the published site, so visits inside the builder preview never appear. New visits land in Live sessions first and move to Recorded sessions later, and most features use the recorded list. If nothing arrives after several minutes, check the domain registered in Mouseflow matches your live address, and turn off ad blockers while testing.

Mouseflow questions

Do I still need Mouseflow if We.Inc has an Analytics panel?

They do different jobs. The Analytics panel counts visitors, pages, referrers and devices without any tag. Mouseflow shows individual sessions and heatmaps, which helps you see why a page underperforms. Many small sites manage with the panel alone and add Mouseflow when a specific page needs investigating.

Will Mouseflow slow down my pages?

It adds one more script to load. After publishing, We.Inc's Speed panel shows how much each script slows the site, so you can see Mouseflow's cost and remove it once you have the recordings you need.

Does it work on my custom domain and the we.inc address?

The code is tied to the website you set up in Mouseflow. Register the address visitors actually use, usually your custom domain. Mouseflow says the code also covers subdomains of that site.

Can I load Mouseflow through a web worker tool?

Mouseflow's installation guide warns that installing through a sandboxed third-party web worker can stop some features working properly. On We.Inc, load the snippet normally in the page head, either through the chat or the code editor.
