Choose your industry, add your business name, hours, services and contact details, and the tool writes a setup sheet for an AI assistant: a persona and system prompt, greeting and fallback messages, a starter list of questions and answers, lead-capture questions and rules for when to hand over to a person. Copy it, download it or print it.
An assistant script does two jobs: it tells the assistant how to behave and it gives it the facts. Behavior covers the persona, the tone and the rules about what not to do. Facts cover your hours, services, prices and policies. Mixing the two makes the script hard to maintain, so the sheet keeps them in separate sections.
The starter questions are the ones customers in your industry ask most. Treat them as a skeleton and add the questions you actually get by email and phone. Ten real questions with accurate answers do more than fifty generic ones, and each one you add is one less thing a customer has to wait for a person to answer.
People are happy to leave their details when they have just been helped and when it is clear why you are asking. The lead flow in the sheet answers first, asks one question at a time and ends by asking for the contact details, with an easy way to say no. If a customer declines, the assistant should say how to reach the team directly.
Decide in advance what a lead is worth following up. A name and a phone number with a real request is usually enough; a name alone is not. Writing that definition into the script helps the assistant know when it has done its job, and helps your team trust the leads it sends.
A persona (who it is and how it speaks), a greeting, answers to the most common questions, a way to say it does not know, questions to capture a lead, and clear rules for when to hand over to a person. This template produces each of those sections.
The sheet contains instructions for how to answer each starter question, using the hours, services and contact details you typed in. It does not contain real prices, policies or facts about your business, so add them. The text is produced from templates for each industry, so it is a starting point, not a finished script.
A lead is a person who has shown interest and given you a way to reach them, such as a name and phone number. You define it in the lead box, and the sheet then tells the assistant when to ask for contact details.
When someone asks for a person, when they are upset or have a complaint, when the question involves money, contracts, safety or health, or when the assistant has failed to help twice. The sheet includes defaults for your industry and adds the ones you type.
Six industries have starter content. For another kind of business, choose the closest one and edit the questions and answers, or use the AI prompt templates tool for a blank system prompt.
