Mission Statement Generator for Small Businesses

A good mission statement says who you serve, what you do for them and why it matters, in words a customer would use. Enter those facts and compare three drafts built only from them. Words like "world-class" and "passionate" are flagged and can be removed with one switch. The drafts come from fixed sentence patterns in your browser, not from AI. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to We.Inc or anyone else, and it is gone when you close the tab.

How it works

  1. Enter your business name, who you serve and what you actually do for them.
  2. Add the result customers get, and optionally a place and up to three values, each with a short example of how you act on it.
  3. Choose a tone and a length. Three drafts appear: one leading with the customer, one with the work and one with the result.
  4. Cliche words in your inputs are highlighted. Turn on Remove cliches to drop them from the drafts.
  5. The checklist shows whether each draft names an audience, an action and an outcome. Copy the one you like, then use the About page outline below it.

Facts first, then wording

Most weak mission statements fail on content, not wording. They name no customer, describe no work and promise no result, so there is nothing for good wording to carry. That is why this tool asks for facts before it writes anything, and why its drafts are only as strong as what you give it.

Using it on your website

The mission statement usually opens the About page, followed by the story of how you started, who does the work, how you work and a clear next step. The outline under the drafts lays that out using your own inputs, ready to hand to a writer or a website builder.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

What should a small business mission statement include?

Who you serve, what you do for them and the result they get. Values and place are optional extras. The checklist in the tool marks each of these for every draft.

Does this generator use AI?

No. It combines your own words using fixed sentence patterns. That keeps every line tied to a fact you entered, and means it never adds claims you did not make.

What is the difference between a mission and a vision statement?

A mission describes what you do now and for whom. A vision describes the future you are working toward. Small businesses usually need only the mission.

Why are some words flagged as cliches?

Words like world-class, passionate, innovative and best-in-class appear in so many mission statements that readers skip over them, and they are hard to prove. The tool flags them so you can replace them with something specific.

Is it free?

Yes, with no signup. Nothing you type is stored.
