How much does a landing page cost?
Building it yourself costs a tool subscription. Hiring someone adds design time. Here is what each route costs.
We.Inc is free to start, no credit card. AI building from $20/mo.
The short answer
Built yourself, a landing page costs from about $19 a year: Carrd's Pro Standard plan, which adds your own domain and forms, was $19 a year for up to 10 sites on October 28, 2026. Dedicated landing-page tools cost more: Unbounce listed its Build plan, with unlimited pages, at $99 a month or $74 a month billed yearly.
Hiring a designer adds their time on top. Clutch reports US agency rates of $100 to $149 an hour and website-builder specialists at $25 to $49 an hour.

Pros and cons
Simple page builder (Carrd)
Best for: One-page sites, waitlists and link pages
Price: Pro Standard $19 a year with custom domain; checked Oct 28, 2026
Pros: Very low yearly price; Fast to build
Cons: One-page layouts only; No A/B testing
Conversion tool (Unbounce)
Best for: Paid-ads campaigns that need testing and many variants
Price: Build $99 a month or $74 billed yearly; checked Oct 28, 2026
Pros: A/B testing and many pages; Built for ad campaigns
Cons: Visitor caps per plan; Costs add up if you only need one page
We.Inc
Best for: People who want to describe a site or web app in plain English and have AI build it
Price: Free plan: up to 3 template sites on a we.inc address, no AI. AI building from $20/mo (Starter, 250 credits). Pro $50/mo, Max $99/mo.
Pros: Describe what you want in chat and AI builds a full, editable site or app; Edit by clicking on the page, by asking in chat, or in a real code editor; Export the React and TypeScript code to GitHub, so you are never locked in; Unlimited sites on paid plans, custom domains from Starter
Cons: The free plan is templates only; AI building needs a paid plan; Newer platform with a smaller app marketplace than the big names; Store features are simpler than a dedicated ecommerce platform
What changes the price
Three things: how many pages you need, how much traffic they get (Unbounce caps visitors by plan), and whether you need testing tools. A single page for a launch or a local service needs none of the extras, so a low-cost builder is enough. Paid-ads campaigns with several variants are where dedicated tools earn their price.
Hiring someone
Clutch's web design pricing page, updated September 21, 2026, lists US, Canadian and Australian agencies at $100 to $149 an hour and website-builder specialists at $25 to $49 an hour. A landing page is a small project, so ask for a fixed quote that includes copy, design, mobile layout and connecting the form.
A note on Leadpages
Leadpages' pricing page showed plan cards from Pro at $15 a month up to Optimize at $100, while the FAQ on the same page listed Pro at $29 up to Scale at $399. We do not know which applies at checkout, so check before you buy; our Leadpages guide tracks this.
Where We.Inc fits: the free plan publishes up to 3 template sites on a we.inc address, with no AI and no custom domain, and needs no credit card. AI building, where you describe the site and it is written for you, starts at $20 a month (Starter, 250 credits); Pro is $50 and Max is $99.
Who wrote this and how
We.Inc makes a competing website builder, so read this with that in mind. Every price on this page comes from the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown, with a link to it. We say where the other option is the better choice, and we do not publish scores for tests we have not run.
