Sample site built by our AI, not a customer site. Bolt & Bracket Handyman is a made-up business; our AI wrote every section, from the headline to the 4-question FAQ. Bolt & Bracket Handyman handles drywall, doors, faucets, TV mounting and gutters in Raleigh, NC. Flat hourly rate, licensed and insured, no trip fee.
A homeowner with a list of small jobs wants to know if you do them, how you charge and how soon you can come. The library has fewer handyman designs than some trades, so this page compares three and is honest about their gaps.
One sample site from our library and two showcase builds made from a one-line prompt. We left out designs for other trades, such as finish carpentry, because they answer a different question. For each we noted the first button, how pricing is shown and what a homeowner still has to ask. Checked 27 September 2026. Every design here is from the We.Inc library and is labelled as a sample or template. None is a customer site, and no entry claims results.

Task: A homeowner with a punch list who wants to know the rate before booking.
Design choice: "The list on your fridge, finished Tuesday" with "Book a visit" and "Get a quote", and the rate in the first line: two hour minimum, $95 an hour after that. "The jobs too small for a specialty contractor" lists Drywall patch and paint, Door and lock repair and Faucet, toilet and disposal swaps, each from $190, plus a $380 Half day punch list. The FAQ covers "What jobs will you not take?".
Limitation: The close, "Send us your list", asks for a photo by text but only shows a phone number. Add a form with a photo upload.
Showcase build from a one-line prompt (made-up business). Open it
Task: A homeowner who wants one person for many small trades.
Design choice: "Home repairs made simple." with "Get Free Quote" and "See what we cover", and a menu link straight to "Drywall & Painting".
Limitation: The "Fast response" dial is a claim with no number behind it, and the first screen gives no rate. Replace the dial with your real response time and add how you charge.
Showcase build from a one-line prompt (made-up business). Open it
Task: A handyman business that wants a bold first screen and a quote button.
Design choice: "TRUSTED REPAIRS, NASHVILLE QUALITY" with "GET FREE QUOTE" and "See recent projects", and a menu with Services, Process and Projects.
Limitation: The hero photo is a laptop, not repair work, and the stat bar ("20+ Years in business", "450 Customer satisfaction rating") is filler. Use your own job photos and only numbers that are true.

A website for [business name], a handyman in [city] covering [areas]. Lead with a "Book a visit" button. State the hourly rate, any minimum and how parts are charged at the top. List the jobs we do (drywall patch and paint, door and lock repair, faucet, toilet and disposal swaps, TV mounting, punch lists) with starting prices, and the jobs we do not take. Add photos of our own work, our lead time, insurance details, and a form where people can list jobs and attach photos.

The Bolt & Bracket sample says $95 an hour with a two hour minimum, billed in half hour blocks, with no trip charge inside the service area. Those are sample numbers; publish your own rate and minimum the same way.
The sample says either works, and that parts it buys are added at cost with the receipt. Say how you handle parts on your own site, including whether store runs are charged.

The first thing a visitor reads is "The list on your fridge, finished Tuesday", with "Serving Wake County since 2015" set above it as a small label. The line underneath does the explaining: "Two hour minimum, $95 an hour after that, and we bring the parts. Most punch lists are done in a single visit." Two buttons follow, "Book a visit" for people ready to act and "Get a quote" for people who want to look around first. The layout is a split hero, copy on one side and footage on the other, using looping stock footage instead of a static photo.
Directly below the hero, a strip of 4 short facts does the job most handyman sites leave to vague words like "trusted" or "experienced": 10 yrs (in Wake County), $95/hr (flat rate, no trip fee), 4,100 (jobs completed) and 1 yr (workmanship warranty). Each one is something a customer can check or hold the business to.
The "The jobs too small for a specialty contractor" section lists 6 what we fix: Drywall patch and paint (From $190), Door and lock repair (From $190), Faucet, toilet and disposal swaps (From $190), TV mounting and shelving (From $190), Gutter cleaning and minor roof repair (From $220) and Half day punch list ($380). Prices run from $190 to $380, so a visitor can tell in seconds whether it fits the budget. A one-line note sets the terms: "Two hour minimum, then billed in half hour increments. Materials at cost." Each item gets a sentence of its own, for example "Doorknob holes, water stains and anchor damage, textured and painted to match."
Under the heading "Two trucks, both owner driven", the about section says: "Curtis Okonkwo spent eleven years as a commercial carpenter before starting Bolt & Bracket in 2015 because friends kept asking who fixes the small stuff. It is still just him and his partner Elias, so the person who quotes your job is the person who does it." It then lists 3 concrete points instead of a paragraph of values: owner does the work, no rotating crew of subcontractors, one year warranty on our labor, in writing and we say no to jobs that legally need a specialty license.
There are 3 reviews, each signed with a name and a context (Sandra M., Cary homeowner; Kevin B., Drywall repair, Garner; Yolanda F., Door and faucet repair). None of them says "great service". They mention a specific moment, like "Charged me for 2.5 hours when he quoted 4. I did not ask him to."
The FAQ covers 4 questions: "How does the hourly rate work?", "Do you buy the parts or do I?", "What jobs will you not take?" and "How soon can you come out?". The answers are direct. The first one reads: "It is $95 an hour with a two hour minimum, billed in half hour blocks after that. There is no trip charge or fuel surcharge inside our service area."
The page closes on "Send us your list". It sets expectations before anyone gets in touch: "Text a photo of the problem and we will tell you if it is a one hour job or a whole afternoon before we book anything." Hours are written out (Mon to Fri 7:30am to 5pm, Sat 8am to 1pm) and so is the area covered (Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Apex, Knightdale, Wake Forest). The phone number also sits in the header on every scroll position, so nobody has to hunt for it.
The palette is three colors: a #f6f3ec background, #1b2b22 text and one accent (#2f5d4f) used only for buttons and labels. Headings are set in a serif face and buttons have 4px rounded corners. The menu has 6 items (Services, Pricing, About, Reviews, FAQ and Contact), all on one page, so it scrolls instead of making people click through.
