What Hostinger really costs over four and eight years

If you renew for another 48 months at $10.99, that term is $527.52, so eight years total $647.04. Unlimited is $167.52 then $815.52 (eight years: $983.04). Cloud Startup is $383.52 then $1,247.52 (eight years: $1,631.04).

Put another way, the renewal term of each plan costs four to five times its first term. That is normal for hosting companies, but it is the number to compare when you weigh Hostinger against builders with flat pricing.

Extras after the first year

The domain is free for one year when you buy a yearly or longer plan, and must be registered within 12 months of buying; after that it renews at the normal price for its ending. Mailboxes are free for one year, then renew at $0.59 a month per mailbox on a 12-month term. Budget for both from year two.

Premium, Unlimited or Cloud Startup?

Premium covers a single business, portfolio or blog site, and its three-site limit leaves room for a side project. Unlimited is the plan for running a store or several sites, and adds priority support. Cloud Startup is the same builder on more powerful hosting, worth it only if you expect heavy traffic.

Shorter terms are offered at checkout at higher monthly rates; we did not record them, so check the checkout before you commit if four years upfront does not suit you.
