Plumber Website Examples: What Works and How to Build Yours

Sample site built by our AI, not a customer site. Copperline Plumbing is a made-up business; our AI wrote every section, from the headline to the 4-question FAQ. Copperline Plumbing serves Tucson with drain cleaning, water heater replacement, slab leak detection and repipes. Same day service, upfront flat pricing.

Six plumbing website designs, compared by what a homeowner needs to do

Someone on a plumber's site usually has water where it should not be, or no hot water at all. They want to know if you do their job, roughly what it costs and how fast someone can come. The designs below each answer that differently.

How these were picked

We picked five sample sites from our library that each sell a different kind of water work (general plumbing, yard drainage, septic, water softening and well service) plus one multi-trade catalogue template, so no two entries solve the same problem the same way. For each we read the live sample and noted the first button, how prices are shown and what a visitor cannot do. Checked 27 September 2026. Every design here is from the We.Inc library and is labelled as a sample or template. None is a customer site, and no entry claims results.

1. Copperline Plumbing

Sample site built by our AI (made-up business). Open it

Task: A homeowner whose drain keeps clogging and who is wary of being sold a repipe.

Design choice: The headline is the promise ("Camera in the line before we quote the repair") and the buttons are "Schedule service" and "Emergency line". Every service carries a flat price on the page: $149 drain cleaning, $225 camera inspection, water heater replacement "From $1,650".

Limitation: The contact section says to "send the form", but the sample only shows a call button. You need to add the actual request form so night-time visitors can leave details.

2. Stonebrook Drainage

Sample site built by our AI (made-up business). Open it

Task: A homeowner with a flooded yard or wet basement, not a blocked sink.

Design choice: "Water leaves the yard, not the driveway" with "Get an assessment" as the main button. The close, "Show us the wet spot", asks for a photo after the next rain, which suits a problem that only shows up in bad weather.

Limitation: It asks for a photo but offers no upload, only a phone number. Add a form with a file field if you want pictures before the visit.

3. Halloran Septic & Pumping

Sample site built by our AI (made-up business). Open it

Task: A rural homeowner who is due a pump out or is selling the house.

Design choice: "Pump it before it backs up into the house" leads to "Schedule pumping", and a separate "Real estate inspection" line at $425 serves sellers and buyers who need a report for closing.

Limitation: The contact section asks for the address and when the tank was last pumped, but there is no form to send them. A short request form would fit this booking well.

4. Clearline Water Systems

Sample site built by our AI (made-up business). Open it

Task: A homeowner in a hard water area who wants the water heater to last longer.

Design choice: "Phoenix water is 16 grains. Fix it once." with "Free water test" as the first button and "Salt delivery" as the second, which turns a one-off install into a repeat visit.

Limitation: No repair or emergency path. It works for a planned purchase but not for someone with a leak today.

5. Bedrock Well Drilling

Sample site built by our AI (made-up business). Open it

Task: A landowner with no water at the tap, or one planning a new well.

Design choice: The headline treats it as urgent ("No water is an emergency, we treat it that way") and the buttons split the two visitors: "Request a quote" and "No water now". The FAQ explains why wells are priced per foot.

Limitation: The emergency path is a phone call only. There is no way to see whether a technician is available today without calling.

6. Summit Trades

Business template from the We.Inc library. Open it

Task: A shop that does plumbing, heating and electrical and wants one site for all three.

Design choice: A catalogue template titled "Plumbing. HVAC. Electrical. Done right the first time." with a "Get a Free Quote" button, a service list that includes water heaters and "Drain & Sewer" camera inspections, and a service area list.

Limitation: Template copy is generic and the numbers in it (years, jobs, ratings) are placeholders. Replace them with your own or remove them.

Walkthrough: booking a drain cleaning on the Copperline Plumbing sample

  1. The visitor lands on "Camera in the line before we quote the repair" with two buttons: "Schedule service" and "Emergency line".
  2. The services section opens with "Flat rate pricing given before work starts, including parts and labor" and shows Drain cleaning at $149, cabled or hydro jetted with a camera check after.
  3. The FAQ answers the visitor's real worry, "My drain keeps clogging. Is cabling enough?", and explains when the camera is worth it.
  4. The close, "Get a plumber out", offers a call for same day service and promises a two hour arrival window by text.
  5. Gap to fix: add the request form the close mentions (name, address, what is happening, best time) so the booking does not depend on a phone call.

Questions

How long should a water heater last in Tucson?

The Copperline sample answers eight to twelve years for a tank unit, shortened by hard water, and says annual flushing helps. On your site, answer it for your own area's water and say what signs mean it is time to replace.

My drain keeps clogging. Is cabling enough?

In the sample the answer is that cabling clears the blockage but not always the cause, and repeat clogs call for a camera. Write yours in your own words with the price of each option.

What makes this plumber website work

The headline sells an outcome

The first thing a visitor reads is "Camera in the line before we quote the repair", with "Serving Tucson since 2004" set above it as a small label. The line underneath does the explaining: "We run a camera and locate the problem before recommending anything, so you are not paying for a repipe when a section of line is the actual issue." Two buttons follow, "Schedule service" for people ready to act and "Emergency line" for people who want to look around first. The layout is a full-bleed cinematic hero, the headline laid over darkened footage, using looping stock footage instead of a static photo.

A strip of hard facts

Directly below the hero, a strip of 4 short facts does the job most plumber sites leave to vague words like "trusted" or "experienced": 22 yrs (serving Tucson), Same day (on most calls), 9 (licensed plumbers) and 5 yr (warranty on repipes). Each one is something a customer can check or hold the business to.

The menu of services is priced

The "Repairs, replacements and repipes" section lists 6 our services: Drain cleaning ($149), Camera inspection and locate ($225), Water heater replacement (From $1,650), Tankless water heater install (From $4,200), Slab leak detection and repair (From $850) and Whole home repipe (From $7,800). Prices run from $149 to $7,800, so a visitor can tell in seconds whether it fits the budget. A one-line note sets the terms: "Flat rate pricing given before work starts, including parts and labor." Each item gets a sentence of its own, for example "Cabled or hydro jetted through an accessible cleanout, with a camera check after."

A story with checkable details

Under the heading "Twenty two years of Tucson hard water", the about section says: "Copperline has worked the Tucson valley since 2004, which means most of what we see is scale, slab leaks and water heaters that died early because nobody flushed them. We are licensed and bonded, we quote flat rate, and we tell you when a repair will hold rather than pushing the bigger job." It then lists 3 concrete points instead of a paragraph of values: camera inspection before recommending any line replacement, flat rate quoted and approved before work begins and five year warranty on repipes, one year on repairs.

Testimonials that say something

There are 3 reviews, each signed with a name and a context (Rosa E., midtown Tucson; Jeff W., Oro Valley; Amanda C., drain repair, Vail). None of them says "great service". They mention a specific moment, like "They showed me the camera footage on their tablet before saying a word about price."

It answers the questions people are afraid to ask

The FAQ covers 4 questions: "How long should a water heater last in Tucson?", "My drain keeps clogging. Is cabling enough?", "How do I know if I have a slab leak?" and "Do you charge for estimates?". The answers are direct. The first one reads: "Eight to twelve years for a tank unit, and our hard water pushes many toward the low end. Flushing the tank once a year genuinely adds years."

Contact is a single clear ask

The page closes on "Get a plumber out". It sets expectations before anyone gets in touch: "Call for same day service or send the form and we will confirm a two hour arrival window by text." Hours are written out (Mon to Sat 7am to 7pm, emergency service after hours) and so is the area covered (Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Green Valley). The phone number also sits in the header on every scroll position, so nobody has to hunt for it.

The design stays out of the way

The palette is three colors: a #f5f6f8 background, #111827 text and one accent (#1d4ed8) used only for buttons and labels. Headings are set in a sans-serif face and buttons have 6px rounded corners. The menu has 6 items (Services, Pricing, About, Reviews, FAQ and Contact), all on one page, so it scrolls instead of making people click through.

Every service and price, as the site lists it
