Webflow pricing: site plans, workspace plans and what an agency site really costs

Webflow charges twice: once per site for hosting, and optionally for the workspace your team designs in. Here is how it adds up.

We.Inc is free to start, no credit card. AI building from $20/mo.

The short answer

A Webflow site costs $15 a month (Basic) or $25 a month (Premium) billed yearly to host on your own domain, or $29, $74 or $212 a month for a store. You can design for free on the Starter workspace; paid workspaces for freelancers and teams cost $16 to $49 a month, and Team is $2,500 a month on an annual contract.

Basic is for sites that do not need Webflow's CMS; Premium is the plan for blogs and content-heavy sites.

We.Inc

Best for: People who want to describe a site or web app in plain English and have AI build it

Pros: Describe what you want in chat and AI builds a full, editable site or app; Edit by clicking on the page, by asking in chat, or in a real code editor; Export the React and TypeScript code to GitHub, so you are never locked in; Unlimited sites on paid plans, custom domains from Starter

Verdict by buyer

One small site with no blog: Basic site plan, $15 a month billed yearly, on the free Starter workspace. A site with a blog, case studies or a project collection: Premium site plan, $25 a month. A freelancer or agency building client sites: a Freelancer or Growth workspace, plus a site plan for every client site that goes live. A store: a store plan from $29 a month.

Do you need a site plan or a workspace plan?

If you build one site for yourself, you usually need only a site plan and the free Starter workspace. Freelancers and agencies who build many client sites pay for a workspace, then each client site still needs its own site plan to go live on a custom domain.

Which Webflow site plan should you pick?

Basic ($15) fits a landing page or small brochure site. Premium ($25) is the one to pick if you will publish a blog, case studies or any collection of content, because that is what Webflow's CMS is for. Pick a store plan only if you sell through Webflow's own commerce.

Is Webflow expensive?

For one small site it is similar to Squarespace. It gets expensive when you add team seats, extra bandwidth ($20 per 50 GB a month billed yearly) or add-ons. The bigger cost is often time: Webflow rewards people who already think like designers.

Where We.Inc fits: the free plan publishes up to 3 template sites on a we.inc address, with no AI and no custom domain, and needs no credit card. AI building, where you describe the site and it is written for you, starts at $20 a month (Starter, 250 credits); Pro is $50 and Max is $99.

What an agency site costs for three years

Take one agency website with a project collection, reusable service pages, a client editor and a custom domain. The collection needs the CMS, so it needs Premium: $300 a year, or $900 over three years, at the yearly prices read on September 25, 2026 and assuming no change. If you build it on a Freelancer workspace ($16 a month), add $192 a year for the workspace, which is shared across all your client projects.

Not included: extra bandwidth ($20 per 50 GB a month billed yearly), add-ons such as Analyze or Localize, extra seats and the domain. Add those in our website cost calculator for a full figure.

A test to run before you commit to Webflow

Build the same small agency site on the free Starter workspace: 1. Set up a projects collection and add three entries. 2. Make one service page and reuse its layout for two more. 3. Invite the person who will edit the site and check they can change text without breaking the design. 4. Note which paid plan you need to publish on a custom domain. 5. Check it on a phone. Step 3 is where many teams find out whether Webflow suits them.

Ownership and moving away

Webflow hosts the site and you connect your own domain to it. If you may want to move the site to another host later, check Webflow's current rules on code and CMS export before you build, because what you can take with you decides how hard a move would be.

Who wrote this and how

We.Inc makes a competing website builder, so read this with that in mind. Every price on this page comes from the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown, with a link to it. We say where the other option is the better choice, and we do not publish scores for tests we have not run.
